Fun times!

This is one of our trips to the dry lake beds.  It is just about 30 minutes outside of Las Vegas, so it easily accessible, and always fun!  We blow stuff up, ride four wheelers, eat, and generally play and have fun.

Seven, Nathan, and Sky, eating ice cream at Papa's

At the beginning of December, we got an invitation to go to Duck Creek, with Tyler's friend Jeremy Richmar, and his family, to cut down our own Christmas tree.  We gladly accepted.  I had never spent any time there in the winter.  It was crazy.  There was no one around.  all the stores and shops were empty.  it was so peaceful.
We rented a snowmobile and decided to take a little family ride together. We had some technical difficulties, where we rolled one, with all four of us on it.  It was so funny. Trystan was so scared and sad and crying afterwards, for fear it would happen again.  Seven was crying afterwards, because she was mad we weren't going fast on the snowmobile.  Our girls could not be more different!

Station 32

Tyler has been at station 32 (located between Bellagio and Vdara, off the strip) for over a year now.  He loves the crew.  Looking at the bottom picture, his crew is: Kevin Lunkwitz, Steve Katich, Johnny Fish, Ty, Aron Suzuki, and Doniel Leak.  These are a couple of the photos the crew had done for posterity, I suppose.  They are a good looking group.  They have a ton of fun together, but I would imagine that it will be somewhat short lived, as they get their butts kicked!  It is not unusual for them to run 12 calls between ten o'clock pm and six o'clock am. It will be fun while it lasts!

Newest Family picture. Cherish it. There won't be another for at least 5 years.

Also, A Frehner Family Picture!

Halloween 2010

Halloween 2010

Halloween this year was so much fun!  We did so many fun things.  We were invited to several parties and trunk or treats.  Trystan loved being dressed as Jesse, from Toy Story, and Seven is obsessed with Buzz Light Year.  I had a hard time getting her to wear her costume.  The first time I put it on her, she was so happy.  SHe was running around the house yelling, "To infinity and beyond!"  Getting ready for our first party of the season, she screamed, kicked, and refused to wear it!  I wasn't surprised, but I was definitely disappointed.  Soon after the party started, Johnny Fish showed up in his Buzz Light Year costume, and after that, it was over.  She came straight up to me and said, "momma, I want Buzz Light Year."  I got her dressed in it, and every party after that, she did not complain at all.  She just let me put her outfit on her.  Peer Pressure is going to suck when she is older!
I had to throw one in there of me and a couple of my friends.  We dressed up as polygamists. And as you can see, Ken was our loyal husband.  Kim Sierski and Angela Bautista

Lacking Confidence

The other day Seven and I took Trystan to gymnastics.  It is always fun to bring Seven there, because she pretty much just creates a raucous and wants to play.  She basically cries for 45 minutes and I actually watch Trystan's gym class for 2.5 minutes.  Even though my spectating is sparse, I really enjoy going and watching her.  This particular time, I truly did not get  a chance to watch her. Wrangling Seven, is sometimes a rough task for one individual. That being said, once class was over, I asked Trystan how she did.  SHe said, "Mom, I did so good.  The teacher told me that I did so good today."
"Wow," I said, "that is great.  I am so happy she told you that.
She then admitted, "well, the teacher didn't really say that, but she should have, because I did so good."

That is truly Tyler's child.  I am so glad she inherited his confidence and not mine!

Speaking of confidence, the little one just takes her diaper of crawls commando-style over the pool rocks.  What's up with that?

It is pretty cute how a child starts getting older and they start to play with other kids.  This picture is of her and Ella Fuentes playing on the pool rocks.  If I wasn't so slow with the camera, the picture would have shown the whole enchilada!!

I hate moving.

Every time I move, I say I will never move again.  It's like childbirth.  After a little time passes, you forget how awful it is, and you think it won't be a big deal, so you do it again.  I guess I am a sucker.  Our house is a wreck and I can't find anything (probably because it is all in boxes), and it sucks!  Here are a couple pictures from the last few days in our backyard.

On the other hand, I am very excited about the new house.  It has a pool!!!

Seven's 2nd Birthday

We are in the process of moving, and had no plans to throw a birthday for Seven.  And then I realized what terrible parents we are to not have a party.  So, we threw one together at Tyler's parents house. We ended up having so much fun.

I took Seven to the store to pick out decorations.  She wasn't having pink or princesses.  She wanted Buzz "Yight" Year.  So, we did a Toy Story theme.  it was so cute!

I had to add a picture of my rainbow cake.  I don't know if it tasted so good, but it was beautiful!
